Become a friend of Rosefinch

We started Rosefinch Mercantile with a mission to eliminate loneliness. Since then we've hosted the area's first Queer Prom, donated space to the community garden, created a weekly Crafternoon that is the best place possible to make new friends, and so much more.

Stewarding all of this takes steady, shared care — especially in an old building and a rural village that relies on us on to keep the post office open. 

The reality is, our space exists between what communities need and what is financially viable. If you'd like to help us fill in the gaps, please become a Friend of Rosefinch. With your support, we can continue to facilitate community connections, offer free food events, and keep the lights on and the doors open in one of the most accessible businesses in Queens County. 

You can give monthly or make a one-time contribution. You can also direct your support toward what you value most. All supporters receive a handwritten thank-you note and behind-the-scenes updates as well as our endless gratitude.

Note: Rosefinch is a social enterprise, not a not-for-profit. This means we can't issue tax receipts, but we do want to thank you properly. We will add everyone's name to a Friends of Rosefinch list and treat every contribution with care and intention.
